About LiberalMind

A debate-first moderate voice for all American citizens.

Our founding statement

Our flagship film: who we are, in our own words. AI-assisted video — voice and visuals are synthetic; but the facts sourced in the video are very real.

LiberalMind was founded by liberals the Democratic Party left behind.

Too committed to free speech, free markets, faith, and the Constitution to follow that party where it went — and too liberal, in the word’s original sense, to trade one tribe’s orthodoxy for another’s.

Ronald Reagan said it plainly: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me.” The party kept moving. John Fetterman still serves in it — and says so out loud. Tulsi Gabbard walked away from it entirely. Joe Manchin left it too, and when his old party demanded he fall back in line, he refused.

So we built the home we couldn’t find. Too far right for the socialists, too far left for the communists — and right where most of this country actually lives: the 80% who agree on the 80-20 issues and are tired of being shouted over by the loudest fringes of both parties.

What color are we? Purple — red and blue made us, and neither owns us. The Moderate Party: the real party of the people, built by independent voters who still think for themselves — on capitalism, the Constitution, freedom, and faith, argued out in the open.

Why purple?

Look at our colors. At the narrow extremes they are pure red and pure blue — the loudest fringes of both parties, certain and shouting. Between them runs the wide middle: purple — the 80% who agree on the 80-20 issues and are tired of being shouted over.

What color are we? Purple — red and blue made us, and neither owns us.
