LiberalMind Publisher is our own internal application. It connects to LiberalMind’s own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API v3 for one purpose: uploading and managing LiberalMind’s own videos, and reading back their publishing status.
The application acts only on LiberalMind’s own channel, under authorization granted by the channel owner. It does not access, collect, or process any other person’s Google or YouTube account, videos, or data. Its access is limited to the permissions granted to it: uploading videos and read-only access to our own channel (the youtube.upload and youtube.readonly scopes).
What the application stores: the OAuth credentials and access tokens issued for our own channel, kept locally on LiberalMind’s own systems and used only to operate the publisher, together with the video files and metadata (titles, descriptions, and scheduling information) that we publish to our own channel.
What we never do: we do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not use Google user data for advertising. LiberalMind’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access: the channel owner can revoke the application’s access at any time from the Google account’s third-party access settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions). Revoking access stops the publisher from acting on the channel until it is authorized again.
This website is a static publication. We use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how many people visit and which pages they read; it does not build profiles of individual visitors.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you give us so we can send it to you. Signup is double opt-in: your subscription starts only after you confirm it from your own inbox. We never sell, rent, or share email addresses, and every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
